Raeanne Young is a Program Associate at the Center for Democracy & Technology. She is based out of CDT West in San Francisco, where she coordinates CDT's Digital Policy Working Group for the West Coast and works on a range of projects involving Internet policy.
Prior to joining CDT, Young worked as a policy intern at the Electronic Frontier Foundation and the Samuelson Law, Technology and Public Policy Clinic at Berkeley, where she conducted research on patent policy. She has also worked as a communications and campaign strategist, providing media support and training to non-profits and Bay Area youth groups. Young received her Bachelor's and Master's in Public Policy from Mills College in Oakland, CA.
