Masoud Shafaee is a second year J.D. student at American University's Washington College of Law, as well as a Master's student studying international affairs at the School of International Service. Masoud received his B.A. in political science and socio-cultural anthropology from the University of California, Davis, and spent a year after college abroad attending Universiteit Leiden in the Netherlands. Prior to coming to CDT, Masoud was a contributing writer for the World Security Institute's Farsi publication, the Washington Prism.
