I am a senior at UCLA with a double major in Political Science and Sociology. My passion for the Internet began a few years ago when I taught myself how to design web pages, using raw HTML, Flash and Javascript. While I have been working more on the technical side of the Internet for the past few years, I recently gained an interest in policy with respect to the Internet through working with UCLA's Online Institute for Cyberspace Law and Policy. While working with this program I researched issues regarding the Internet and technology policy -- more specifically, I explored issues concerning MP3's and intellectual property. For a while now, I have been asked why I am bothering with Politics if everything I do has to do with computers and the Internet. Through UCLA's Online Institute for Cyberspace Law and Policy and CDT, I have been able to find a way to answer their questions, and link these two passions.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, I enjoy rollerblading, snowboarding, the beach, and music.
