International Study Team Requests ICANN Election Data - An international team of non-profit and academic groups have issued a letter to the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers requesting data from last year's online election of Directors to the ICANN Board. The team, known as the NGO and Academic ICANN Study (NAIS) includes CDT and its partner Common Cause. NAIS is currently preparing an in-depth look at the nature of public interest representation in ICANN, the organization that manages domain names and IP addresses on the Internet. NAIS's letter is addressed to Carl Bildt, head of ICANN's own initiative to review its election. February 07, 2001
