Public Interest Coalition Calls for Improved .us Policy Making - A broad coalition of non-profit, public interest, governmental, and commercial groups today announced the creation of a new policy organization for the ".us" domain. The U.S. Department of Commerce is currently seeking a new operator for ".us," and this coalition (facilitated by CDT) has begun working with potential bidders to create a system of representation and participation for current and future users of ".us" domain names.
